Tonight Lord Chandra will visit the Nakshatra Magha who loves to sit on the royal throne and has a certain royal regality because Magha sits in the constellation of LEO and more specifically is aligned with the STAR Regulus. The Shakti associated with Magha has the power ‘to leave the body at will’ Tyage Kshepani Shakti .
Magha is the mighty one, the ruling planet of Magha is Ketu the South Node of the Moon, Ketu the shadow planet of our past a very spiritual Graha (planet). The ruling deity is the Pitri’s our ancestors who are believed to live on the Moon and of course in our DNA. Ancestral Puja (worship) helps us honour and deal with them, they can have great power for good or ill over our lives.
Our ancestors are seen and unseen.
This Full Moon is an excellent time to do a simple ancestral Puja (worship) keep it simple, offer some water, thank your ancestors because without them you would not be here. Thank your Lineage (a long line of people more than a few generations). This is very important especially if you are teaching another lineages teaching such as Yoga, Tantra, Jyotish because it was not your ancestor who gave up their lives to preserve and hold these sacred teaching, someone else ancestors and line of humans did but not yours. Always, give back and have the upmost respect, always remember somebody is watching.
thanking them and making an offering helps to appease them. When the ancestors are calm and appeased if you are a Yogi you may move forward with more ease. If the ancestor are disturbed they can make a mess of your life. If Magha is an important Nakshatra in your Vedic Astrology Chart, it is important to take notice because you more than likely are ruled by your ancestors and the ancestors are important to you.
The Full Moon is a blessing, look at the Moon with your eyes, with each breath bring the energy of the moon into your body, swallow the Rasa (juice) and store this lunar energy inside your belly in what is called the Tan Tien or Hara an inch below your belly button about an inch inside your belly core. Nourish yourself with the energy of this full moon by drinking in the energy into every cell of your body. If the moon disturbs your mind, if your emotions are stirred take some quiet time to be silent or listen to inspirational music or mantra. Be gentle, know your limits and play within them.
Om Chandraya Namaha - Full Moon blessing to all.
