Joy Maa Yoga & Qi Energy
is a comprehensive healing arts and meditative Yoga that is all inclusive. It is Yoga from the soil and soul of India, based on the ancient Baul (Baaool) Tradition of Bengal. An Indigenous Yoga and Bhakti Yoga that has never been taught to any great extent outside of the Baul community in Birbhum West Bengal India. Self realization, Soul realization, God/dess realization, Sanatan Dharma the eternal truth.
Joy Maa Yoga is also based on the teaching of Ramakrishna Dev and Sarada Maa the mystical Saints of Bengal. Joy Maa Yoga is the Yoga of integrating all Kosha's or layers covering the soul but more importantly it is the Yoga of the Subtle Body, Asana is included but it is not based on Asana it is a Yoga based on the Soul. There are more than enough Yoga Studio's who are teaching physical fitness.
Joy Maa Yoga's focus is on the esoteric mystical aspect of Yoga, the roots of Yoga and Tantra, "The Tantra of Indian Music" and sound healing, the inner deep meaning and practices indigenous to India. That being said Joy Maa Yoga is an integration of East and West because of course we are 'Universal Human Beings' and raising consciousness in Humanity is important for the future of this awe inspiring blue and green jewel that we live upon. Trishula is from the West English speaking, Babukishan is from the East Sanskrit, Hindi, Bengali, and many other Indian languages, he speaks English and understands cross cultural differences in interpretation as he can see in both English and Sanskrit.... he is my in-house translator.

Reincarnation and past life explorations, I was trained as a past life therapist, self hypnosis, and NLP back in the early 1980's and spent many years taking people through this process and find it valuable for those who want to experience their past lives in knowing that we will live again and again and it is important in understanding our karma's. It is only for those who want to know, those who want to journey deeper. It is not about going backwards, it is truly about going forward, it is also a valuable tool in healing, it is not about getting stuck in the past, it is more about moving forward. The art of the Journey.

Puja what is Puja, why do we Puja or worship, different kinds of Puja?
Honoring the ancestors or Pitru Paksha is an important part of clearing the way for our path, Puja to the ancestors.
Oral Sanskrit in the Tradtion of Guru shishya Parmapara Storytelling transmission..and a lifetime of educational Scholarly Sanskrit even at the University Masters Level.. the difference between scholarly Sanskrit and Oral Sanskrit is in the transmission of the living energy of Sanskrit and hearing and remembering from birth. Usually in the west the University Level sanskrit is one word for one word in English translation, where as if it has been learned orally there are many translations for one word which is what Babukishan has regarding Sanskrit. Me I am like most westerners and I understand how difficult it is..... we try and I have become an expert in translating all this wisdom into a western brain so that is is understandable, I believe both are necessary.
Jai Maa is victory to the Great Mother in Sanskrit, Joy Maa is theBengali way to say Jai Maa. Jai means victory to Maa the 'Feminine Divine' saying Jai Ma or Joy Ma is a way of honouring Ma and giving a blessing and both mean the same thing.
I specifically love Joy for Jai (victory) because it also has an added meaning of Joy the english meaning for 'Ananda' BLISS, the way I choose to live my life and share my life with others in JOY both as Ananda and Victory. Joy Maa Yoga is an inner Yoga, it is an inner esoteric mystical subtle deeper reality a mediation approach that also includes physical yogic postures but is driven by the SOUL not the body.. most people say BODY, MIND, SOUL... Joy Maa Yoga focus is *SOUL* MIND*BODY* opposite to most physical fitness Yoga today. JOY MAA YOGA IS THE SPIRITUAL PATH OF THE SOUL, a path of sadhana, it is about becoming more subtle and less attached to how we look in this world, it is about becoming more attached to Love inward talking to the soul.. soul centered and soul focused naturally and spontaneously. A feminine approach which is always the inner way, inward bound. Love heals all and has every answer so we will start with awakening Joy Maa Yoga " Baul (Baaaool" Yoga, inward focused, the path of sadhana or practice.
Joy Maa Yoga is Yoga of the Soul.... and thus Yoga of the Heart... the Bauls who were great Yogi's and the best Bhakti Yogi's..., the body and the mind can lie or tell untruths because they change all the time, you can change your body, you can always change your mind but your Soul (atma) never changes, your soul is steady bright and strong, it is pure consciousness, pure bliss, your soul is eternal meaning it was never born and it never dies. The body changes clothes but the soul does not it stays the same forever it may take another body but is a fire that can not be stopped... soul power.
The soul is situated in the heart of all beings and with this in mind here is a beautiful quote .
"That which is heart, this mind, that is, consciousness, perception, discernment, intelligence, wisdom, insight, persistence, thought, thoughtfulness, impulse, memory, conception, purpose, life, desire, will, Light are all names of Pure Intelligence. All things are guided by and based on this intelligence of Spirit. Om Namah Shivaya". Yogi Ananda Saraswathi

That is why, brother, I became a madcap Baul. No master I obey, nor injunctions, canons or custom. Now no men-made distinctions have any hold on me, And I revel only in the gladness of my own welling love. In love there's no separation, but commingling always. So I rejoice in song and dance with each and all."
Rabindra Nath Tagore
The Hibbert Lecture, Oxford, 1930
The famous Bengali poet Rabindranath Tagore, was the one person in the world who talked about the Bauls, he had met Lalon Fakir, but it was Sri Nabani Das Baul who was his Baul Guru, and his best firend. Nabina Das was the Baul who inspired Rabindranath Tagore. There was a long history between the Rabindranath Tagore and Nabani Das Khyappa Baul, and many stories to be told. Nabani Das Khyeppa Baul is Babukishan's aka Krishnendu Das Baul's beloved Guru Grandpa.
"If no one talks to you,
O my unlucky friend, if no one speaks to you,
If everyone looks the other way and everyone is afraid,
Then bare your soul and let out what is in your mind,
(be not afraid) Speak alone my friend. When dark clouds cover the sky, When darkness engulfs the truth,
When the world cowers and bows before fear,
You be the flame, The flame that burns you and banishes darkness
from the world, (be not afraid) Burn alone my friend".
