An egg of possibility is building as we near the dark moon.

In the darkness everything is born.

You can see a sliver of the moon left. Today is the 12th tithi
(Dvadashi - lunar day) of the waning moon. Time to creatively think and wake up to your goals. Do not stagnate or decline, when things become dark find the inner light inside, it is brighter than any exterior light as seen by your eyes.

Over the next 3 days the moon will be a smaller and smaller sliver until it is completely dark and in the shadow.

This moon is still in Libra ruled by Venus in the Nakshatra (lunar mansion) of Vishakha ruled by Jupiter.

This 12th lunar day is on the Solar Day of Thursday ruled by Jupiter. A Jupiter/Venus/Jupiter day. Brighten up.

11th lunar day (tithi) called Ekadasi, waning moon (moving to dark moon) in the constellation of Libra in the Nakshatra Swati the self going, independent, blowing in the wind.

Grow a little today and do not get blown over by anything. Stand tall and reach a little higher each moment. Swati is ruled by Rahu.

The Solar day is Wednesday ruled by Mercury who is retrograde in a Karmic knot.

Use your discernment today and think things through before you make any decision. Good advice everyday for everyone :)

8th Tithi Lunar phase,(Chandra) Moon 'Day', the light of the Moon is fading the dark side (waning) moon is becoming darker. This Ashtami day of the Moon is ruled by the Vasu's - it is time to be seen and let your Light shine as today is Sunday ruled by Surya, it is a good day to honour the sun the karaka for your soul which is the biggest atomic light with you, this it is called atma (pure consciousness, eternal and bliss).

We always have two things or more at play in a day, the Lunar day and the Solar Day.

Two halves of a whole, Moon Yin (Shakti) Feminine Energy with many layers because to make matters even more strange the moon is personified as (Chandra a male) and Yang (Shiva) Male energy, they are at play in everything with overlapping energies of DNA (ancestors)and our past life karmas that overlay and overlap. We must know what category we are communicating in thus we have Ganesha the lord of categories who puts everything in its appropriation category.

We have our own mind and the layers of our mind emotional, intellectual & higher mind, the minds of others, the minds of other spirits and minds of the unseen, the mind of the God, and Goddess's. Who is your mind listening to, which level are you reacting to in this life. If the Sun (Surya) shines brightly in your life the sun can burn away the voices that are not working in your best atma (sat chit ananda) interest.

Remember we are always multi-tasking, multi-layered HUMAN BEINGS thus nothing is so simple as this or that, reality is complex.

Jyotisha is a holistic sacred healing system, it must be helpful to others.

Jyotisha is a Tantra, the deep many lifetime study of karma, time and reincarnation.

It is a practical mystical tool and practice.

Remedies are used to remove obstacles, to understand who we are in the universe.

What will be our dharma, how we will make money, and enjoy this life which hopefully will lead to moksha or freedom, Vedic Astrology deals with all aspects of life including Health & Relationships.

Jyotish was revealed to the Rishi's in order to set the prisoners free not to hold them hostage to their karma's or enslave the individual to what is seen as malific in a chart.

It was never meant to be fatalistic. Yes we have fate and free will and there is a remedy for every problem, Grace of God or Goddess is the biggest remedy.

There is always hope we always need to try and fight our way.

A Jyotishi is a guide a seer and points the way, a Jyotishi never traps anybody by giving a fatalistic negative reading making people feel hopeless and in despair.

The earth is the place of suffering a Jyotishi's gift is to find a solution to bring light to the situation.

Thus Jyotish is the science and art of Light.

How do I proceed?

Jyotish is about understanding Purusha (consciousness) and Prakriti (phenomenal realm of matter) how it is all woven together?

Jyotish is a Tantra a technique.

Jyotish is a sadhana it keeps the mind awake and aware and with the help of Lord Ganesha it helps us categorize life into a workable deeper understanding.

Thus Ganesh is the Lord of Jyotish, Saraswati helps us understand and gives Wisdom. Dakshinamurti helps us put it all together. Then one would have an istata devata (favorite God or Goddess). Then worship of the 9 planets.

Jyotish is a Path.
