My perspective and experience of an eclipse. An eclipse is the activation and wild ride of Ma Kundilini it starts slowly and can catch one off guard she move around like a swirling invisible energy a mystic mystery that is very subtle. The left and right channels of energy that run along the spine activate and flow up the central channel the strength of the gravitional pull the moon has on the tides. These energy channels are also known as Shakti/Yin/Female energy for the left channel and Shiva/Yang/Male energy for the right channel.
The energy of Shakti and Shiva will funnel up together like a snake making love then flowing up the central channel like all colours of a rainbow focusing into one bright light washing cleaning and clearing the channel and going out through the top of the head bursting towards the heavens. This is a sacred blessing of openess in your body, mind and soul. For those on a path of transformation this is welcome and beautiful for those who do not understand it can bring up things that are to be pushed out, washed out, felt and let go of. To some this is an intense time a time of clearing and yet many others not understanding this time they may project their frustions or hurts onto others.
An eclipse is a sacred time a portal of time to advance to awaken Ma Shakti and this is why the ancient Yogi's have always said, do mantra sadhana during an eclipse to advance and advancing is liberating your karma and one must be strong and able to face what is released. A Yogi or Yogini knows that mantra, prayers, thought word deeds are a thousand or more times more powerful during the days before during and after an eclipse.
This is the time to hunker down and focus inward because your thoughts words deeds during this particular time on the planet are so very important. Go into the cave of your heart of home and focus on what desires you would like to manifest, how you want to live in this world. This is a sacred time like no other. The Lunar Eclipse takes place on Sunday evening, however, start now, right now there is never anytime to waste and continue on forever because all time is sacred, all space is sacred and there is only NOW and where are you going after NOW!
There are many astrological karaka's and stories that go along with the eclipses this is a simplification on general affects of ecipses. To me it is alway eclipse time as I experience in a sweat lodge that we don't need to go into a sweat lodge we are always in a sweat lodge we just are not aware that we are either sitting in a sweat lodge foating through space or are sitting on planet earth hurtling through space like Horton of Horton hears a Who we live in Whosville whether we are aware of it or not, the eclipse is a portal to become aware all the Graha's grab you and are trying to pull you upwards.
