What is a Baul?
A Baul is based on Sanatan Dharma because their roots are deep in Bengal India, thousands of years.
However, they also accept Buddhist thought, Sufi thought as these thoughts flowed into Bengal and they have their own thoughts too because they are free thinkers. Bauls are Bhakti Yogi's with a Vaishnava slant, their only concern is Love or Prema they are mad for Love they are the bee looking for the honey also known as Honey Catchers, their darshan is their song and dance, they do not care about caste or creed silly rules and regulations, the divine is their only cause..
Radha, Radha Radha and Kali Ma Ma Ma Goddess/God is their only cause they do not care about your orthodox waste of time book knowledge of personal opinion and personal translation they are an Sanskrit oral tradition who sang in the vernacular Bengali language of Birbhum, they will keep far from you.
