Nabani Das Baul was the only Baul Guru who taught Indira Gandhi at Vishva Bharti. Later he became a close associate of Nehru singing before his speeches the special magic of Baul is gathering people with their singing.

Baul Saint Nabani Das Khyapa Baul was the First and Last Baul Music & Dance Teacher/Guru at Rabindranath Tagore University/Vishwa Bharati in Bolpur,Birbhum,West Bengal.

The only Baul who inspired Rabindranath Tagore was Nabani Das Khyapa Baul. Tagore gave Nabani land on the University and wanted him there all the time. It was a long close association.
