I am sharing some of my practices over many decades:
Qigong is the science and art of LIGHT, just as Jyotish is the science and art of Light
Ayurveda is the science and art of Life, just as Chinese Medicine is the science and art of Life.
These are some of my practices.
Qigong/Tai ChiMedical Qigong,
Doaist Qigong,
Tantric Buddhist Qigong &
Golden Lights Qigong is a spiritual practice.
Qigong is (energy work) working with the forces of nature bringing cosmos bringing balance, harmony, communication with your intuition and Divine beings. Qigong is extensive and ancient there are thousands of types, concerning health, longevity, creating a body of love and light.
Physical, mental, emotional healing qigong, acu-pressure points, posture, breath and healing sounds.

Golden Lights Way
Heaven and Earths Magical Infrastructure.
is the source of all infinite energies
By improving ourselves through Lifes training ground of endless crisis.
We develop spiritual insights to understand God/dess and manifest super powers on the 3 planes of existence
Respect only the truth as the sole reality
Our Innate Golden Lights.
Surround, Cover, and Protect ourselves.
You watch them but not with your eyes
You listen to them but not with your ears
Heaven and Earth are encompassed with golden lights.
Nourishing life and all existence
Each time you practice you bless the universe and the universe blesses you
Shadows are eliminated the body glows strong and brights…..
All spirits in all dimensions protect you.
The 5 spiritual emperors host your welcome
The infinite spirit and your spirit bow in mutual respect.
You gain access to thunder power…
Which scares ghosts and demons
Low level entities dissipate in fear
The power in your central core is activated
You inside shake with thunderclaps of lightening
Wisdom spreads throughout your being of translucent strongly brilliant shiny lights
All the 5 different chis invigorate and envelop you
Gold Lighs quickly permeate and surround you..
Protecting you and paving your road to becoming immortal.
As given by Master Shou Yu Liang

Watch your thoughts; they become words.
Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits; they become character.
Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.

It is my thought there is very little respect, this does not mean being blind. Respect is an understanding that this person has really given there life to their art, It is a blessing to even be allowed to learn these techniques they do not belong to us.
In western culture we are so used to taking and selling when in actual fact we must practice, practice and more practice for decades before we teach.
Bowing is respect for the gift that the giver is bestowing on us, it is much more but I think as Westerners we take and give no credit or respect to the ancient traditions, it goes so much deeper, and the depth will only come with respect, both in Yoga and Chinese martial arts..
Grace comes through the lineage.
To reach deeper and deeper levels you must be worthy, there are divine beings watching on the subtle levels, when you enter the Masters space you are automatically being watched on the subtle level. I also realize most of the people teaching yoga are not Masters, they are teaching fitness classes, so I would say just friendly respect, the kind of respect you would have for everybody and everything.
There is a difference between a master and a regular person, these distinctions also need to be made. Practice by treating everybody with respect, animals, trees, flowers, yourself and all that you meet love all, respect all, serve all.
Below is an outline of Respect when receiving teaching from a lineage teacher,Master, or sacred teachings.

RESPECT!
٭ Bow to Shifu when entering and leaving the training hall!
٭ If you are late for class, bow to join in. If you need to leave
early, tell your Instructor! This also applies to instructors who are taking classes!
٭ If you know you will be missing classes, tell your instructors in
advance. Don’t just disappear!
٭ Help to keep the school clean & tidy – when you see something that
needs doing, DO IT!
٭ Have Respect for all, including yourself.
Your martial arts training hall is a School and a
Family! Endeavour to Help and Love each other.
(As Shifu says: Respect from each other, Help from each other, Love
from each other.)
٭ Be Humble. Be Kind. Be Patient.
٭ Be open to learning, (to the teachings) and keep a positive attitude.
٭ Always try and do your best.
٭ Strive to do better, to improve, to be more successful – Persevere.
٭ Cultivate Virtue: Morality, Righteousness, Honesty, Trust, Loyalty, Courage, …
٭ Be a good person. Lead by Example!
٭ Any problems (physical, financial, emotional…) – tell
